Humans wield cameras as weapons against the relentless passage of time, capturing fleeting photons and imprisoning them within photographic paper. Despite all our efforts, we remain trapped in the snare of time, photographs will inevitably fade, memories blur, and even digital media will succumb to decay. It is precisely this paradox of eternity, so close yet forever beyond reach, that gives our lives their radiant glow. I choose to raise my camera and use its shutter to hold those beautiful moments a few frames longer in my life.
Hey, I am a young passionate slushie born in Tianjin, China and currently living in Toronto.
I explore many fields including art, cognitive science, computer science, and music. Photography and filmmaking are my favourite fields, allowing me to capture the precious moments in our lives. Most importantly, it is a medium through which I can preserve and share those unseen glimpses of our society.
In 2021, I founded Negdims Inc., a design studio that focuses on developing creative projects and also producing visual products such as Brand Guidelines, Films, etc.
